I stopped by Proper Bakery + Cafe and instantly felt the cozy, welcoming vibe of this family-owned spot. You can tell everything is made with love—from the pastries to the coffee, it’s all top quality. The staff was so friendly and genuinely passionate about what they do. Even though they’re new, they’re already creating such a strong sense of community. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu. Highly recommend supporting this local treasure!

Great little spot that just opened up a few months ago! Was able to get a fresh brewed cup of coffee even later in the afternoon, the owner mentioned they only use fresh ground each time so the coffee doesn’t sit all day and taste burnt! We also tried a few cookies, very fresh and delicious. Will definitely be back to try their lunch items!

Hidden gem — a must-try! We stumbled upon this place and 10/10 recommend. The staff was super friendly and kind, and the coffee was amazing. We also tried the chocolate chip and s’mores cookies — both were delicious! Can’t wait to come back and try more options.

This place is amazing. Had a gluten free breakfast sandwich that was delicious, topped off by a really good gluten free cake slice. The gentleman who took and made our order was extremely kind. I will definitely be back!!

Fluffy, buttery, and perfect! The kolaches took me straight back to Austin. Yogurt was fresh and crunchy, and the breakfast burrito—one of the best I’ve had. Family-owned, super friendly, and full of heart. Light, cozy, and unforgettable. Don’t miss it!

I recently visited this new bakery, and I’m definitely coming back. The loaded breakfast burrito was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made—every pastry looks like it was crafted with real care. Ken was very attentive, making me feel welcome the moment I walked in. This place has a great atmosphere and selection. It is the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again.

Proper is a new restaurant that opened 3 weeks ago! It's tucked away in a business area so there's plenty of parking. The owners are so sweet and accommodating. Everything is made in- house and they have everything including cookies, croissants, cinnamon rolls. I like savory goods for breakfast and got the jalapeno cheddar bun. It was nice and fluffy and something that wasn't too heavy. My partner got the loaded breakfast burrito and it was delicious! The eggs are fluffy and they really load it w flavor since they add the salsa in the mix as well. He was satisfied and food coma-ed in the car. We will definitely be back. Not a lot of traffic since they're still new but hopefully we can check out their sweet items.

Came out for a light breakfast and a coffee and was extremely pleased. The service was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The food was excellent and was even catered to my gluten allergy. I also got cookies for others and they said they were amazing. The icing on the cake was how cute and clean it was inside. I highly recommend this place to all! There’s something for everybody.
